Cancellation Policy — New Life Doulas
At New Life Doulas (NLDS), we understand that circumstances can change. This policy outlines how services may be cancelled by either the Client or NLDS, and what payment obligations apply.
Cancellation By Client
Clients may cancel services at any time by providing 14 days’ written notice. The effective cancellation date will be 14 days from the date notice is given.
- Clients are responsible for payment for all services rendered by NLDS up to and including the effective cancellation date.
- Final payment is due and owing on the cancellation date.
Cancellation By NLDS
If NLDS must cancel services for any reason (other than non-payment — see below), NLDS will:
- Provide the Client with 2 weeks’ written notice.
- Use best-faith efforts to find a qualified replacement doula for the Client.
If the Client chooses not to have NLDS fulfill the 2-week notice period and/or find a replacement, the Client must inform NLDS in writing of the effective cancellation date, and NLDS will be relieved of any further obligations under the agreement.
- Clients are responsible for payment for all services rendered by NLDS up to and including the effective cancellation date.
- Final payment is due and owing on the cancellation date.
Cancellation For Non-Payment
NLDS reserves the right to cease services if any invoices remain overdue and unpaid, in accordance with the payment terms outlined in your service agreement.
